In the late 19th century, wooden piers were a common site along the coast of SW
Michigan. Glenn Pier was used primarily for loading fruit for shipment. Its use
diminished in early 20th century and it was left to the elements.
Today the pier offers an interesting shore dive.
Depth is 5 to 20 feet
Finding the site: Take I-196 to exit 30. Go S to Glenn, go west to 114th to a two track road that will lead you to the shore.
