The clay banks represent an ancient beach zone formed centuries ago before the glaciers melted.
Stretching over many acres, they include small grottos, trenches and projections rising as high as 15’ off the bottom.
Located 50 to 60 feet deep. Divers should tow a flag while diving this site and use a compass, as it can be difficult to relocate the buoy or anchor line.
